Reflections Art Recognition Program

The Reflections Arts Recognition Program is a national arts recognition and achievement program for students that provides an excellent opportunity for students. This is an opportunity to unleash creative talents, express themselves imaginatively in their artwork, and receive positive recognition for their original works of art. In addition to this, the Reflections Program increases community awareness of the importance of the arts in education.


The theme for 2019-2020 is "Look Within"

  • Deadline to turn in entries will be Friday November 8, 2019

  • Bring entries to the PHS Main Office by 3:30pm (Reflections Art Collection Box)

  • PHS Reflections Showcase to be held in December (Date – TBD)

  • National PTSA Reflections

  • Maryland PTSA Reflections


The art areas for this year are:

  • Dance Choreography

  • Film Production

  • Literature

  • Music Composition

  • Photography

  • Visual Arts


Special Artist Division

The Special Artist Division is a non-graded division limited to students with physical, cognitive or mental health challenges. These students will follow all general and arts category rules, but may submit an entry in the grade division most closely aligned to their cognitive or functional abilities.
